Hytera RD98xS — 1024-Channel DMR Repeater, up to 100W Variant
Professional DMR systems repeater (RD982S) delivering 5-50W continuous RF on UHF1/2/3 and VHF bands — with an RD98XS-100W variant reaching up to 100W — plus 1024-channel capacity and 100% duty cycle. Choose the SLR 5500 when you already run (or plan) a Motorola MOTOTRBO fleet: single-site coverage up to 64 channels, the 1U rack with integrated battery charger simplifies site installs, and IP Site Connect / Capacity Max scales within the Motorola dealer ecosystem. Choose the RD98xS when the network outgrows 64 channels or must span open-standard DMR: 1024-channel capacity, Tier III trunking, simulcast and Hytera XPT give large multi-site networks room to grow, the 350-400MHz and 806-941MHz options cover bands MOTOTRBO does not, and the 100W variant pushes wide-area rural or valley coverage that 50W repeaters cannot reach. SLR 5500 buys ecosystem integration; RD98xS buys capacity, band coverage and open-standard scale.
